By minibus

The shuttle service at Budapest Airport is called Airport Minibusz. Budapest Airport Minibusz Kft is the official transporter of Budapest Airport Zrt. Their drivers speak foreign languages and always find the shortest route in the city. Passengers onboard Airport Minibus can get in touch with the airport and receive all necessary information regarding their flight from the moment their journey starts.
From your house to the airport and back, our minibuses operate as a shared-ride service, meaning passengers travelling to the same area are carried together. The travelling time is optimized and supervised using our fleet monitoring system, which can display the actual location of every vehicle in real-time.
Reservations can be made personally at the AirportShuttle desks in each terminal or by using our on-line reservation system (www.airportshuttle.hu) 24 hours before your flight departure time. It is also possible to order our service by calling the Call Center at +36-1-296-8555 (between 06.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m.), e-mail: info@airportshuttle.hu.

By taxi
Zóna Taxi is Budapest Airport’s official passenger transportation partner. They carry their customers for fixed fares determined in advance, based on zones of the city in line with distance from the airport. By train
Trains commute between Nyugati railway station in Budapest and Budapest Airport Terminal 1 at least four times an hour, seven days a week. Tickets are available at rail ticket kiosks and machines as well as at the Tourinform office in the hall of Terminal 1 from 9 a.m. to 22 p.m. Outside office hours. By public transport
Bus no. 200E commutes from the subway terminal in Kőbánya-Kispest to Budapest Airport Terminal 2 via Terminal 1. Bus no. 93 (black numerals) runs from the subway terminal in Kőbánya-Kispest to Budapest Airport Terminal 1 and back. Tickets can be purchased at the BKV (Budapest Public Transport Company) ticket sales points (ticket kiosks and news stands), from ticket machines, and from bus drivers. SERVICES

Priority Lane – Without queuing
To frequent fliers always short of time, we recommend our Priority Lane service at Terminals 2A and 2B. Passengers entitled to use the service (frequent flyer card and business class ticket holders) can pass through security screening through a priority lane, without having to wait.
All you need to be able to use the priority lane service is a sticker attached to the boarding passes of premium passengers at the check-in counters. Upon presentation of the sticker, Budapest Airport’s queue managers open a corridor leading straight to the X-ray machines. Please contact your airline for details.

Easy check-in with CUSS
Budapest Airport introduced the Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) check-in system at Terminals 2A and 2B in mid-October. These clever devices will speed up check-in, making the process simpler, more efficient, and all-‘round easy.
Finnair was the first airline to link up to the machines, to be followed by MALÉV, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Air France. For more information, please contact your airline.

VIP SERVICES

MALÉV – fast check-in, business lounges
Malév’s Fast Check-In service enables baggage check-in without queuing for all departing flights, so it is sufficient to arrive at the airport 45 minutes prior to departure. You can pass through passenger security screening via the Fast Lane channel. VIP escorting is available, and a dedicated VIP bus carries passengers between the terminal and the aircraft upon arrival and departure.
Malév’s business lounges at Terminal 2 have been refurbished. The Danube and the Audi Sky lounges at Terminal 2A and the Millennium lounge at Terminal 2B offer a pleasant and peaceful environment for passengers, with a large selection of food and drinks, including several high-quality Hungarian wines. Services: business corner, free Wi-Fi access, computer usage, printing, giant screen television, daily and weekly press.

CELEBI – Platinum service
Celebi’s Platinum Service offers personalized services including airport transfer as well as ticket and baggage handling. Baggage is carried by porters, and passengers are assisted by hostesses if necessary. Celebi provides transport for travelers to the aircraft by VIP bus.
The Platinum lounge in the transit area welcomes passengers with exclusive services: tranquil surroundings, business corner, internet access, TV, photocopier and fax.
The VIP room of the general aviation terminal near Terminal 1 is available for meetings in a peaceful and pleasant environment. The lounge can accommodate thirteen people and is equally suitable for meetings and for recreation.
